Amsterdam: Lawrence Ferlinghetti, 1980. First Edition, First Printing. 4to (11 x 8 1/2 inches; 280 x 215 mm), 9 leaves plus cover sheet, printed rectos only, stapled twice along the left margin. SIGNED by Lawrence Ferlinghetti on the last page, one of only 25 copies. Ferlinghetti describes this scarce edition, featuring a single poem printed in typescript with corrections, as a "Xerox manuscript edition printed Oct 1980." With a drawing of an angel by Ferlinghetti on the cover sheet. This edition should not be confused with other Ferlinghetti books that have "Endless Life" in the title, such as those issued by New Directions. OCLC FirstSearch shows four institutional holdings: the University of California at Berkeley and Santa Barbara, and at North Carolina and Virginia. No other copies in commerce as of March 3, 2019, which is probably not surprising since only 25 copies were published. A must-have for the Ferlinghetti completist. SCARCE. Item #1701
Condition: A bit of soiling to the cover sheet and some light handling wear. A Near Fine copy of an extremely scarce Ferlinghetti publication.
