American journalist and professional curmudgeon John T. Flynn (1882-1964) responds to critics of his 1949 book, "The Road Ahead: America's Creeping Revolution," in which he alleged America was being led down the road to socialism.

In this pamphlet, he attacks Protestant church organizations, saying they promote socialism. He also levels attacks at various people he considers socialists, communists, and fellow travelers.
