A pamphlet on the Soviet theatre by the acclaimed actor Ivan Moskvin (1874-1946). It was issued in 1939 for distribution at the New York World's Fair and features black-and-white photos of several theatre productions. As might be expected, Moskvin highlights the growth of theatre in the Soviet Union and defends Socialist realism. Item #2040
