Leningrad: Leningradskaia Filarmoniia, 1934. 24mo (5 7/8 x 4 1/2 inches; 150 x 111 mm), 55,  pages, in sewn printed wrappers. An appreciation of composer Arnold Schönberg (1874-1951). The author, I.I. Sollertinskii, was a Leningrad music critic and director of the Leningrad Philharmonic. An association copy, with the collection stamp of Erich Itor Kahn and Frida Kahn on the title page. Erich Itor Kahn was a German-born composer strongly influenced by Schönberg. This booklet, printed entirely in Russian, had a print run of 3,300. However, OCLC FirstSearch shows only a single institutional holding, at Harvard (while the New York Public Library has a copy on microfilm). There were no other copies in commerce as of August 30, 2019. RARE. Item #2050
