Brown has been the poetry editor of Chicory, a literary magazine of the Enoch Pratt Free Library of Baltimore, and Dawn Magazine, a publication of the Afro-American Newspaper. He also has taught at Sojourner Douglass College and Towson University. The upper wrapper features a striking illustration by Brother Nyanga.
