SIGNED in pencil by John Fowles and Aaron Johnson on the colophon page, 1 of 35 copies reserved for the author, artist, and Yolla Bolly Press (this is a Press copy). The entire edition totaled 185 copies, including 10 copies that were accompanied by a suite of prints.
The book contains two essays, The Tree (first published in 1979) and The Nature of Nature. Aaron Johnson has contributed eight beautiful color woodcuts. The book itself is bound in Belgian linen and contains the image of tree branches. A beautiful production from Yolla Bolly Press.
CONDITION: Fine in a Very Good slipcase that has some soiling and rubbing. Item #2616
