Wang Keping (b. 1949 in Beijing) was one of the founders of the Stars group of artists, who mounted unauthorized exhibitions in China in 1979. He works solely in wood and has lived in France since 1984. The rear cover features one of his most famous works, Silence, from 1979. Text in English and Chinese, several plates in black-and-white. No institutional holdings shown in OCLC.
