Sumptuous catalogue for the Chinese-French sculptor Wang Keping. Numerous color plates, introduction by Michael Sullivan, and an additional text by Paul Serfaty.

Wang Keping (b. 1949 in Beijing) was one of the founders of the Stars group of dissident artists, who mounted unauthorized exhibitions in China in 1979. He works solely in wood and has lived in France since 1984. Many of the works in this catalogue are devoted to the female form and date from 1999-2000.

This catalogue is scarce in the antiquarian book trade. OCLC shows only four institutional holdings: Metropolitan Museum, University of Sydney, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the University of Hong Kong.
