Napoleon in Russia
New York: International Publishers, n.d. [1941?].
Pamphlet on Napoleon's disastrous invasion of Russia in 1812, issued following Germany's invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941.
The author, a renowned Russian historian, predicts that Hitler will face an even greater defeat. "On June 22, 1941, the miserable Hitler, dreaming of becoming a Napoleon, hurled his armies across the frontiers of the Soviet Union. But this perfidious and malicious enemy miscalculated his own strength and the strength of the Soviet people," Eugene Tarlé writes.
