A gorgeous production from Carol J. Blinn's Warwick Press and one of the more elusive of John Barr's poetry collections (only 75 copies were printed). Barr and Blinn have signed the colophon, and Blinn has contributed six hand-colored line drawings to this collection of 18 poems on the natural world.
The binding consists of special Japanese green batik paper sewn with vellum tapes and includes a bamboo lace paper insert. The letterpress text is set in Monotype Spectrum on Frankfurt White stock. Designed, printed, and handbound by Blinn.
As usual, a beautiful production from Blinn's Warwick Press. Added bonus: Prospectus laid in featuring samples of the batik and bamboo papers.
