Belgian-French author and painter Henri Michaux (1899-1984) has contributed a brief autobiography (Qui Il Est), followed by 7 prose poems and 16 black-and-white illustrations of his paintings. Foreword by art critic Louis Cherronet. Text entirely in French.
Signed copies are extremely scarce to the market.
PHYSICAL DETAILS: 16mo (6.375 x 4.75 inches; 163 x 122 mm), [64] pages, in stiff, cream-colored printed wrappers (soft cover).
