Item #3043 Fantastic Architecture. Wolf Vostell, Dick Higgins.

Fantastic Architecture

[New York]: Something Else Press, [1970]. First American Edition.

Anthology on modern architecture issued by Dick Higgins's Something Else Press.

Contributions from artists often associated with the Fluxus movement and conceptual art, including Claes Oldenburg, John Cage, Richard Hamilton, Pol Bury, Lawrence Weiner, Joseph Beuys, Dennis Oppenheim, Alison Knowles, Daniel Spoerri, Carolee Schneeman, Ben Vautier, Robert Filliou, and many others.

"Compiled by Higgins and Vostell for German and American editions, Fantastic Architecture presaged the attack on hide-bound methods and attitudes which a new generation of visionary architectural theorists were to begin mounting in the 1970s."
