Time Remembered opened at the Morosco Theatre in New York on November 12, 1957, and starred Helen Hayes, Susan Strasberg, and Richard Burton. The play, called Léocadia in French, was first performed in Paris in December 1940.
The book features a few photos from the Broadway production. Helen Hayes, who played the dutchess, won a Tony Award for Best Actress in 1958.
