A striking collection of woodcuts by the great Belgian graphic artist, Frans Masereel (1889-1972), all on the theme of étalages, or shop windows. The publisher, Pierre Vorms, was a friend of Frans Masereel's and published numerous books featuring Masereel's woodcuts. Vorms also was co-editor of the Masereel catalogue raisonné, published by Fonds Mercator in Antwerp in 1976.
