This is a collection of essays by noted Beat scholar John Tytell with accompanying photographs by Mellon, his wife. "Essays" really doesn't do this book justice, because Tytell, a noted scholar on the Beat Generation, also writes about his life among the Beat writers. Lots of fabulous anecdotes from someone who knew them well. A lot of great pictures, too.Tytell and Mellon have both signed the title page, where Mellon has also written "Good Luck" above her signature.
